A 19 year old Palestinian girl shot while attempting to stab Israeli Security Forces

Police said a 19-year-old Palestinian woman from the West Bank city of Nablus, was shot dead by Israeli security forces after she rushed toward them with a knife in her hand. The incident took place in the West Bank’ Tapuah junction, where dozens of attacks took place during the course of the past year. In another incident, a motorcyclist hit pedestrians last night in a suspected terror attack in the area of the Old City of Jerusalem.

The assailant, a Palestinian resident of the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan, got off the motorcycle after running into them and then struck them with his helmet. Police officers who were patrolling the area arrested the man. Following an initial investigation, which included a search of the area where the incident took place, found a knife at the scene – raising the police’ suspicion that it was nationalistically motivated.
