Reports confirm Islamic State leader killed

Among the significant achievements that were declared over the past month was a “confirmed report” by the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the leader of the Islamic State, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been killed early July in eastern Syria. The Islamic State did not confirm the reports of their leader’s death, nor did they deny it, that after Russia’s defense ministry announced at the end of June that it might have killed Baghdadi when one of its air strikes targeted a gathering of Islamic State commanders on the outskirts of the Syrian city of Raqqa, a statement Washington said it could not corroborate. It is important to note that several separate reports have claimed the death of Baghdadi in the past, yet TV7 could not independently verify the death of the Extreme Muslim group’s leader.
