PM Netanyahu: Peace is viable only with strong nations

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during a memorial ceremony for Israel’s first Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion, emphasized that only with strong nations peace is viable, while warning that weak nations cannot survive in Israel’s region. Netanyahu also revealed that Israel is overflowing with requests to strengthen relations with countries around the world, including in the Middle East, a reality which the Israeli leader said, would bring about the best chance for realizing a peace agreement with the Palestinians. “In our region and I tell you, not only in our region, the weak does not survive the strong survive. The strong is not being attacked. Treaties are signed with the strong. And with the strong peace is made.” He added, “Israel today is flooded, I have no other word to describe it, Israel is flooded with requests to tighten relationships because of two components, terror or anti-terror and technology. The great nations of Asia are approaching, china, India, Japan, Vietnam, all of them, Russia of course. African countries, Latin America countries. regional countries. we are advancing new relationships that in my opinion pose the best chance of advancing the relationship between us and the Palestinians,” Netanyahu stressed.

Netanyahu also took the opportunity to warn countries that seek to wipe Israel out, stressing that Israel’s military capabilities have the capacity to annihilate anyone who seeks to harm the Jewish state. ” Our military strength most be strong enough to repel any enemy or enemies which unite, it must be able to transform the battle to enemy territories like it was done in Kadesh and other wars, and it must have the ability to threaten extinction upon those who threat to extinct us.” He added, “The IDF became one of the leading and powerful militaries in the world. Our intelligence agencies are one of the best in the world, and those who threaten our existence is in grave danger,” Netanyahu warned.

Prime Minister Netanyahu was directing his warning to the Islamic Republic of Iran, which has on a regular basis called for Israel’s destruction and actively supports organizations fighting against the Jewish state.
