“Europe is far too weak and divided to stand in for the US strategically, and, without US leadership, the West cannot survive.” Thus, Joschka Fischer concluded on December 5th 2016 – merely 11 years after concluding his service as Berlin’s top diplomat and Vice Chancellor – that “the Western world, as virtually everyone alive today has known it, will almost certainly perish before our eyes.”
Our answer to Mr. Fischer is a resounding NO. Despite a prolonged display of inadequate leadership on the global geo-strategic chess board – the evident and virtually ongoing failure to prepare for the worst that looms ahead – Europa, based on our Judeo-Christian values and historically proven strengths: WILL stand in the face of adversity.
