Hamas vows to target Tel Aviv in next round of fighting

While Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared to have managed to salvage his government, following his decision to pursue an arrangement with the Islamist organizations in Gaza; the enclave rulers Hamas, together with they powerful allies Islamic jihad, continue to voice threats against Israel. During a memorial service for Hamas militants killed in the fire-fight that erupted last week, Hamas leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar declared: ‘the next escalation, the barrage of rockets will reach Tel Aviv and its surrounding areas.’ Standing in front of Egyptian mediators visiting the Palestinian enclave, and hundreds of Hamas members, Sinwar stressed that “whoever tests Gaza will find only death and poison,” as the Islamist groups in the Hamas-run territory will unite with missile that are far more precise, and have a greater range, than in the past.
