Iran: no chance of compromise with U.S.

President Hassan Rouhani declared that there is no chance of negotiations or compromise with the United States, because Washington is allegedly seeking to topple the Ayatollah regime.

In a televised speech this morning, President Rouhani claimed that the Americans insist that Iran “change back to the way the country was before the 1979 Islamic Revolution,” a demand the Iranian leader stressed, “would never happen.” Furthermore, President Rouhani that the differences between Washington and Tehran are so wide, that they are “neither negotiable nor can there be a compromise.”
