Iran: Bahrain rulers are ‘weak’ & ‘anti-Muslim’

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei rebuked his country’s arch-rivals, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, for enabling the United States in the Middle East.

In a televised sermon during the Eid al-Fitr prayer, which marks the end of Ramadan, Khamenei took the opportunity to condemn Riyadh and Manama for backing the Trump Administration’s so-called “Deal of the Century,” ahead of a U.S.-led economic conference that is set to be held in Bahrain as part of Washington’s Middle East peace plan.

The Iranian Supreme Leader accused Bahrain’s rulers of being weak and anti-Muslim. He called on all Arab leaders to realize their error in supporting the Western initiative.
