Netanyahu: all persons entering Israel from abroad to be quarantined

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today instructed the Ministry of Defense (MOD) to quarantine all persons entering Israel from abroad, effective immediately. The incoming people will be housed at designated hotels or other installations converted for that purpose, under supervision.

In addition to the newly enacted measure, the Israeli Premier further instructed the MOD to conduct coronavirus testing on anyone who comes into the country, in accordance with the requirements set by the Ministry of Health.

In a related development, tens of thousands of protective items are being donated to Israel by many independent international Christian and Jewish organizations.

The protective gear includes surgical gowns, masks, gloves and other medical equipment. The donors, ranging from Hong Kong to San Francisco and elsewhere, have coordinated their contributions with the Health Ministry in a global outreach to help the State of Israel during this time of crisis. The Israeli Consulate in the U.S. city of Boston used a financial donation to purchase two much-needed and lifesaving ventilators.

The welcomed assistance reflects the genuine desire of many around the world to bless Israel and her People.
