PM Netanyahu: ‘Regardless of any U.N. decision, Jerusalem is the capital of Israel’

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared Jerusalem as the eternal and undivided capital of Israel, while vehemently rejecting attempts by the United Nations to dictate otherwise. Netanyahu said, “Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, whether the U.N. recognizes it or not. It took 70 years for the United States to recognize it officially, and it will take years until the U.N. joins in this recognition, too. The attitude toward Israel by many countries around the world, across all continents, changes beyond the halls of the UN. And ultimately it will also seep into the halls United Nations, the house of lies. The State of Israel vehemently rejects this vote, before its acceptance. Jerusalem is our capital, we will continue to build in it, and Embassies of many countries with the United States topping the list, will relocate to Jerusalem. Write what I said, because this will happen,” the Prime Minister declared during a inauguration ceremony of a new hospital wing in the southern Israeli of Ashdod.

The Israeli leader also took the opportunity to thank President Donald Trump and Ambassador Nikki Haley for standing by Israel and the truth, declaring that ultimately, the truth will prevail.
