Polish PM’s convoy involved in a car accident in Israel

Polish officials revealed that several vehicles in a convoy that included Poland’s prime minister collided during a state visit to Israel. Prime Minister Beata Szydlo was not injured in the incident, as the car which transported her was not one of the vehicles that collided. The accident occurred late last night as the Polish Prime Minister was being transported from Tel Aviv airport to Jerusalem at the start of Polish-Israeli discussions. The Polish government spokesman said that two Polish officials required medical attention but were not badly hurt. One was a government security guard and the other a staff member of the prime minister’s office. Meanwhile, the Polish Prime Minister arrived in Jerusalem for a meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during which the two discussed ways to advance bilateral relations. The Polish leader said upon arriving that the two nations have a shared passed, and will continue to share a future together.
