TV7 Praying for Swift Recovery of VP

This week at TV7 we were in prayer for our beloved VP of Operations Yair Pinto, who underwent a surgical procedure on his leg. He was therefore absent for several days and unable to tape our latest episode of Editor’s Note, so we rejoiced at the welcoming of Jael Kalisher to fill in as a Guest Co-Host.

Jael was born in Jerusalem to a family that has given much to the local community of Believers. She has continued this practice by serving in many capacities, including as a worship leader in local congregations and as the Co-Director of the Yuval school of arts and music for Believers.

While in our studio she updated us on her latest project called “Everything Worship.” Viewers who want to know more about it can visit the website.

TV7 also taped two exciting new episodes of Jerusalem Studio, the first of which is entitled “Syria’s state of affairs amid foreign intervention.” Discussion centered on the often-bewildering presence and interaction of an array of outside actors attempting to exert influence in the Arab Republic, including Israel.

TV7 Editor-in-Chief Jonathan Hessen hosted the program alongside TV7 Editor at large Amir Oren, who also hosts Watchmen Talk and Powers in Play.

They were joined by panelists Col. (Ret.) Dr. Eran Lerman, the Co-Host of TV7 Middle East Review, panelist on Powers-in-Play, Vice President of the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security as well as the Editor in Chief of the Jerusalem Strategic Tribune, and Col. (Res.) Reuven Ben-Shalom, TV7 Powers-in-Play Panelist, Cross-Cultural Strategist and Associate at Reichman University’s International Institute for Counter-Terrorism.

Jonathan and Amir were joined on the second Jerusalem Studio program, “Iran’s intentions ahead of revived JCPOA talks in Vienna,” by regular TV7 guests, Dr. Olli Heinonen, the former Deputy Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency and a Distinguished Fellow at the Stimson Center in Washington, D.C. ,and Reichman University Lecturer on Iran, Mr. Meir Javedanfar.

This episode explored issues related to the resumption of indirect nuclear negotiations between Tehran and Washington slated to begin in Austria on 29 November, including the recent tour of Mideast capitals for talks with American allies by US Special State Department Envoy for Iran Robert Malley.

Our especially-selected panel of experts share unique insight with our viewers about both topics, while offering predictions for what lies ahead.

We want to thank our audience for prayers and support of TV7 – particularly for a speedy recovery for Yair – and look forward to another week of serving you.
