Iran: Natanz fire was “sabotage”

Iranian officials announced that initial findings of investigation into the fire that devastated its nuclear facility in Natanz last month was the result of sabotage.

The blaze ignited a major explosion at the highly guarded site on 2 July 2020.

The Ayatollah regime has acknowledged that the blaze inflicted significant damage that could slow the development of the country’s advanced uranium enrichment centrifuges.

There have also been official claims by Iran that either the United States or Israel may have been the source of cyber attacks that caused not only the fire at Natanz, but also at other atomic installations throughout the Islamic Republic. These same officials further stressed that once the investigation is concluded, Tehran will retaliate against any country with involvement in the incidents.
