The upward trend of newly confirmed coronavirus cases throughout the State of Israel is seemingly maintaining a gradual decline.
Following the testing of 9,459 individuals, the Health Ministry reported 487 additional infections. The total number of citizens diagnosed with the disease now stands at 12,200, of whom 176 are in critical condition. The fatality rate rose to 126 after eight more patients succumbed to the virus. The complete recovery of another 309 Israelis has raised the total number of those who have survived the potentially deadly coronavirus to 2,309.
A general lockdown continues to be enforced throughout the Jewish State, with main arteries of cities and highways left almost entirely deserted.
