At least 10 clusters of balloons believed to rigged with explosives were reported to have entered Israeli territory from Gaza today. Domestic media reported separate sightings of the “terror balloons” above the southern towns of Netivot and Sderot.
Israel Police Spokesman Superintendent Micky Rosenfeld was unable to independently corroborate these reports at TV7’s request.
It is imperative to underscore that if any Israelis or visitors discover any of the balloons or other airborne incendiary devices that they should remain a safe distance away, and immediately dial the 100 emergency number.
