On the eve of Israel’s 77th Independence Day, the Global and Regional landscape is partly hidden under cloudy skies. The American dominance in the Middle East seems to be limited mostly by decisions made in Washington according to priorities as seen by the Trump administration. There are obviously Chinese, Russian and on a smaller scale Iranian, Turkish and Saudi interests, to name a few. Israel is manoeuvring among them all, in the framework of October 7 and the following period, as its geo-strategic situation is in flux.
