Shin Bet apprehends terrorist squad responsible for Rina Shnerb’s murder

Israel’s Shin Bet Security Agency has revealed the successful capture of the terrorist squad responsible for the deadly August 23 bombing at a natural spring near the West Bank settlement of Dolev. 17-year-old Israeli Rina Shnerb was murdered in the attack, which left her father Eitan and brother Dvir with moderate to critical injuries.

The operation to apprehend the suspects involved extensive intelligence efforts, and was conducted in joint cooperation with the IDF and Israeli police. It was carried out as part of a wide-scale operation in the West Bank districts of Qalqilya and Ramallah, and included the arrests of 50 members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine terror organization.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed the nation’s security establishment for “apprehending the reprehensible terrorists who murdered Rina Shnerb and wounded her father and brother,” stressing that “the long arm of Israel reaches all those who seek to take our lives, and it will continue to do so.”
